Central PA Mushroom Club

Yesterday, on our way to pick 4.5 quarts of blueberries on Little Flat (Rothrock SF), I found a lovely small fresh white chicken mushroom (see photo top left on home page) on a dead tree along Pine Swamp Road.

This morning's walk in GL #176, produced a huge Berkley's Polypore (photo below), some boletes, a nice platterfull, and my first (small) batch of Chanterelles of the season.

That little rain we had day before yesterday seems to have inspired fungi growth!
